F1000Prime Faculty Members among Highly Influential Biomedical Researchers

In October, Kevin Boyack, Richard Klavans, Aaron A. Sorensen and John P.A. Ioannidis published a list of the most influential biomedical researchers in the European Journal of Investigation. To compile this list, they utilised Scopus citation data collected from 1996-2011, taking into account every author’s h-index and also how frequently their work had been cited by others. Of the 532 authors listed, 59 of them are among the F1000Prime Faculty, spanning Associate Faculty Members to Heads of Faculty, including Peter Barnes, one of the Heads of Faculty for Respiratory Disorders. We’d like to congratulate them, and all members of the list, on their success.
