With regret, we received notice of the death of Helmut Schwilden, Section Head for Technology & Monitoring in Anesthesiology. Schwilden was Professor Extraordinarius at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen-Nürnberg, and joined F1000 in 2008.
