Today is World Malaria Day, and so we wanted to touch on the history & recent developments of the disease, as well as discuss a recent publication in F1000Research which focuses on the treatment of Plasmodium falciparum malaria with chloroquine.
Researchers have created a 3D imaging system to analyse blood flow in limbs, which could be used to asses risk of diseases, such as cancer and arteriosclerosis (the clogging of the arteries).
