Contributor Biography

Steven (Steve) Lokwan is the Director of Operations for F1000Prime, heading a busy editorial department and managing all aspects of the F1000Prime Faculty, who provide recommendations of scientific articles from across all of biology and medicine. He is a graduate of Swansea University where he gained a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Neuropsychopharmaology, focusing on the neural substrates and potential pharmacotherapies relating to motivation and addiction. He is also a qualified level 3 personal trainer, founder of Anterides Ltd. and a social media influencer in health and fitness, running several channels with a collective following of over one million followers.
