Contributor Biography
Steven A. Frank studies how evolutionary processes influence organismal design. He applies his theories to conflict, cooperation, genome architecture, and patterns of genetic variation. He is particularly fascinated by the failures associated with disease, and how those failures reveal hidden aspects of evolutionary design. Frank is currently Donald Bren Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.
