Contributor Biography
Dr. Saskia den Boon is an epidemiologist and health economist who is currently working as a freelance consultant. Dr. Den Boon completed her PhD in Tuberculosis Epidemiology at the University of Amsterdam while based at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. She then worked several years in Kampala, Uganda, coordinating research on respiratory infections and evaluating tuberculosis diagnostics while working for the University of California, San Francisco. As a freelance consultant she aims to contribute to making effective health interventions available, accessible and affordable.
