Robin Haunschild studied chemistry in Hannover and Marburg. After two postdoctoral positions at Rice University in Houston, TX and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology including a Carl-Zeiss fellowship for two years he joined the Central Information Service for the institutes of the chemical, physical, and technical section of the Max Planck Society in 2014. His publications and their citations are available on Google Scholar. His current research interests include the study of altmetrics and the application of bibliometrics to specific fields of natural sciences, e.g. climate change. He can also be found on Twitter. Lutz Bornmann works as a sociologist of science at the Division for Science and Innovation Studies in the Administrative Headquarters of the Max Planck Society in Munich (Germany). His research interests include research evaluation, peer review, bibliometrics, and altmetrics. Since 2004, he has published more than 260 papers in journals covered by Clarivate Analytics Web of Science. Clarivate Analytics lists him among the most-highly cited researchers worldwide over the last ten years since the first release of this service in 2014.
