Dr. Lorna Duncan is a senior research associate in the Centre for Academic Primary Care at the University of Bristol. She uses mixed methods to work in the fields of health service delivery and the promotion of health and wellbeing. In 2019, her research focused on the use of “hubs”, a recent model in primary care, in which a site is shared by several local practices to offer services to patients. With the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Dr. Duncan turned her attention towards adapted guidance for general practice delivery, including the use of hubs for patients with COVID-19.
