Contributor Biography

Henrik works as a manager for National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden, an organisation which provides support in bioinformatics to Swedish researchers. Apart from spending way too much time on administration he also leads a team of genome assembly and annotation experts, and is in this role also collaborating with ELIXIR to build the capacity in these subjects in Europe. Having a background in botany and mycology is useful, as he in his work encounters projects on a wide variety of organisms, and knowledge of biodiversity is not a bad asset to have when communicating with researchers.
