Giampaolo Perna is a renowned researcher in the field of panic disorder. He is a psychiatrist and a Professor at the Universities of Miami, USA, Maastricht, The Nehterlands, and Humanitas University, Italy. He devoted the last 25 years to anxiety disorders both as a clinician and a researcher. He is currently the Chair of the World Psychiatric Association section on Personalized Psychiatry and the Chairman of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at Villa San Benedetto Menni – Hermans Hospitalarias (Como Lake).
