Making good decisions about antibodies with F1000Workspace

It is easier than ever for researchers to see the antibodies that are are used in any research article they’re interested in, thanks to a new partnership between F1000Workspace and CiteAb.

CiteAb aims to enhance the effectiveness of research. They work to ensure that researchers have the tools required to make good decisions about the antibodies they use.

The new functionality in F1000Workspace means users can see which antibodies have been cited within papers they’ve stored in their projects under a new ‘Reagents’ tab. They also see information about the antibody’s applications and reactivity.

The partnership

Joao Peres, product development manager at F1000Workspace said: “It is a privilege to be able to bring the CiteAb data inside F1000Workspace. I believe that our life science users will be thrilled with this new functionality.”

Alicia Cooper, product manager at CiteAb said: “Our team is always really keen to hear from organisations with ideas on how CiteAb’s data can be harnessed to help further research. This is one fantastic example where our developers have been able to work with a partner to produce a unique plugin. Our collaboration with F1000Workspace will benefit researchers and help them make informed decisions about their experiments.”

Our mission

This takes us a step further in our mission to help our users to discover the relevant articles for their research and to stay on top of the literature. We want to simplify the process of discovery and discussion of articles, and make the writing much more efficient.
