2016 F1000Prime Awards Winners

We are delighted to announce this year's Faculty Member winners.

Faculty Members awardThroughout the year, our Faculty works tirelessly to highlight the noteworthy studies and findings in their fields. In so doing, they not only help us maintain our sanity by keeping our ‘to read’ pile at a manageable level but also acknowledge the quality of research from their contemporaries, thereby helping to raise the profile of their work.

It is, therefore, fitting that each year we show our appreciation by recognizing the efforts our Faculty have made in the preceding twelve months by way of three special awards:

1) 2016 Outstanding Faculty Members of the Year are previous winners of a Faculty Member of the Year Award who have continued to write extraordinary recommendations throughout the preceding year that our users have especially appreciated.

2) 2016 Faculty Members of the Year are the Faculty Members in each Faculty that have published engaging recommendations that have proved most popular with our users.

3) 2016 Associate Faculty Member Travel Grant Winners are Associate Faculty Members who have published at least 6 recommendations in 2016 that have been most well received by our Users.

Of course, we value the efforts of all our Faculty Members and Associate Faculty Members, but today we recognize the outstanding contributions of 67 of them for the recommendations they published in 2016. On behalf of the F1000 team and users of our service, I would like to congratulate this year’s winners and thank each and every one of them for their continued support and dedication in helping us stay on top of the literature.
