The entire editorial board of a top linguistics journal quits in protest of Elsevier policies, and is starting a new open access journal.
- This weekend, keep an eye on the #MozOpenSci tag on Twitter. It’s the hashtag for the Open Science Track of the annual Mozilla Festival.
- The week after that is OpenCon, which will take place November 14-16 in Brussels, with satellite events around the world. F1000Research will be at the event in London on November 17.
