We are sad to mark the passing of Nigel Clarke, Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and F1000 Faculty Member in the Neurological Disorders Faculty.

Nigel was diagnosed with a brain tumour in June 2014 and, sadly, passed away on October 14th 2015. Russell Dale, Associate Dean at the University of Sydney described Nigel as “a wonderful academic, and more importantly a humane human being – a kind and gentle man – with a gentle sense of humour.”
