Are you a researcher at King’s College London? King’s has purchased a block of pre-paid Article Processing Charges (APCs) for F1000Research, allowing a number of researchers to publish with us at no cost to them. If you would like to utilise this, please contact the library team who support open access via openaccess@kcl.ac.uk to confirm you are eligible, providing details of your paper and funder.
Here’s what one of our KCL-based authors has to say about us:
“F1000Research is the most progressive and worthwhile development in science publishing for years. Transparent peer review and almost immediate visibility on the web make this my journal of choice. Indeed, I shall publish my primary research work nowhere else.”– Professor Andrew Lumsden FMedSci FRS, MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology, King’s College London
F1000Research accepts all scientifically sound articles, including single findings, case reports, protocols, null/negative results, and more traditional articles. You can find out more about our unique publishing model, check out the large international Advisory Board, and read the latest articles elsewhere on our website. We also have a series of videos on our homepage that tell you a bit more about us.
To submit to F1000Research directly, you can use the simple submission form. (Please mention that you would like to use the KCL prepaid fund.)
If you have any questions about submitting using the King’s College London pre-payment agreement then please contact openaccess@kcl.ac.uk.
