Video tips: an overview of the Faculty

Fundamental to the F1000Prime service is the 5000+ leading scientists that rate and recommend articles for inclusion on F1000Prime. In the following video, we’ll take a look at how the Faculty is structured, from the prestigious International Advisory Board down to the post-docs and PhD students that contribute as Associate Faculty Members.

On a Faculty Member’s profile page there are number of additional features that are being rolled out as the F1000Prime site grows and develops:

Awards
When Faculty Members are awarded “Faculty Member of the Year” or “Outstanding Faculty Member” this appears on their profile, underneath their F1000Prime and F1000Research positions, along with the dates awarded.

Videos
Faculty Members who have provided video interviews for their profile can have those videos added to the profile page, just below their main biography.

They also have a small icon next to their names on all their published recommendations.
