Yesterday we talked about reproducibility on Twitter, as one of Faculty of 1000’s #F1000Talks series of discussions around topics relevant to researchers. Our guests for the reproducibility discussion were Ivan Oransky, Elizabeth Iorns and Christin Chong.
It was an engaging discussion, which got even more lively as other people joined in. What I found especially interesting were people’s suggestions for improving reproducibility. Not only our invited guests had suggestions for both publishers and researchers, but at this point a number of other people joined in with their own tips, such as video protocols, lab meetings, and shared resources.
You can read the full discussion in the Storify below. The next #F1000Talks tweetchat will be in a few weeks, on the topic of preprints, and will be hosted by Michael Markie of F1000Posters. Stay tuned for details!
