Starting next week we’ll be conducting live online demonstrations of F1000Prime to help newly registered users, librarians, and anyone else who wants to know more about the service, get the most of out of F1000Prime.
Each event will be hosted by an F1000Prime product specialist, such as an Outreach Director, and attendees can ask questions and give feedback during the session.
The demonstrations will be conducted online using WebEx, will last for about 30 minutes and are free to attend.
Attendees must register on Eventbrite at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, and will be sent joining instructions for their specific event via email and iCalendar (.ics).
There are two recurring events, held at different times to accommodate F1000Prime’s global audience, but anyone is free to attend any event. Links to the registration page for each event are:
- Demonstration for Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia time zones (weekly on Tuesdays from 29th October, 9am — London)
- Demonstration for the Americas time zones (weekly on Wednesdays from 30th October, 1pm — New York)
Earlier this week we launched a new personalized homepage and article alert, backed up by unique technology that learns from an individual’s research interests, and introduced a free one month personal trial subscription. New users of F1000Prime, those returning in response to these new features, librarians, and anyone else interested to know more are all welcome to attend.
