2013 ASM Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Julian Davies, Head of Faculty in Microbiology and based at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, on receiving the 2013 American Society of Microbiology Lifetime Achievement Award!

The award is bestowed upon those who make “sustained contributions to the microbiological sciences”, and it is not necessarily an annual honor. As part of his prize, earlier this month, Julian gave a lecture entitled ‘Small Molecules Rule the World’ at the ASM’s 113th General Meeting, which was held in Denver, Colorado.

For more information, please see the ASM’s announcement.
