120k milestone competition

Exciting times at F1000 HQ – we’re rapidly approaching our 120,000th published evaluation!

There are currently* 119,599 evaluations live on the F1000 website – just 401 evaluations short of the 120,000 mark – which means we’ll pass this milestone sometime in the next few weeks.

We’re giving you the chance to win an F1000 bag of swag (including the snazzy F1000 finches sweatshirt I’m modelling below). Simply correctly predict the day on which the 120,000th evaluation will be published. Do use the stats on the F1000 home page to help you calculate our rate of publishing.

To enter, post your guess in the comments below or tweet us (@F1000) with the hashtag #120K (follow us so that we can DM you if you win). Alternatively, add your prediction to our Facebook page.

The bag of swag will be awarded to the person with the correct guess, or the closest correct guess. If more than one person guesses correctly, their names will go into a hat from which we’ll pick the winner.

Good luck!

The 120,000th evaluation was published on April 11th! Since no one correctly guessed this date, the winner was drawn out of a hat of the names of people who had guessed April 10th and 12th.

Congrats go to Yerbol! The goody bag will be on its way to you very soon!
