Via UCL News, four scientists at University College London have been elected Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences. We’re pleased to report that one of them, Professor Philip Beales, is also an F1000 Member.
Philip Beales
Philip works on conditions arising from defects in cilia structure and function, in an attempt to understand the role of cilia on neurons in learning disabilities.

From the UCL News website, Academy Fellows are elected for outstanding contributions to the advancement of medical science, for innovative application of scientific knowledge or for their conspicuous service to healthcare.
