As part of the Philadelphia Science Festival, which is going on in the city of Brotherly Love from April 15-28, Judge John Jones–who delivered a resounding victory to proponents of evolution education in the 2005 Dover, PA trial–will be holding court at the Community College of Philadelphia on Saturday (April 23). If you’re in the area and you’ve ever wanted to ask Jones just how good it felt to shoot down the Intelligent Design camp, here’s your chance!

This is 2pm in the Winnet hall near 17th and Spring Garden. No cost – thanks to PhACT, the Philadelphia Association for Critical Thinking sponsoring it. Will open with a showing of the 5 minute Nova special on the case, followed by about 40 minutes talk by the Judge, closing with a sure to be lively Q&A. That court case was a major victory for Science as well as church-state separation – most significant one since the Scopes Monkey Trial.
PhACT normally holds public lectures there the 3rd Saturday of the month 2pm during the school year. More info at http://www.phact.org

I can’t believe that you guys are still arguing about this intelligent design issue. If science cannot explain why Darwin could not explain the mystery of the “Cambrian Explosion” why are you guys still thinking that creationism is fake? There are a number of findings by highly qualified scientists that fossils of fully developed organisms have been found across the continents with no evidence of their transitional stage from a related ancestors. Please ask me I will direct you areas where you can find these facts. The hedron collider cannot even prove the Big Bang Theory. Oh my God!!!!!
