Thats fine. But in science they all say that you need to be in an area which has a criical mass or a minimum critical mass if I may say.
I have to agree that marketing is a major factor in getting new ideas out to the public and our peers. However there always has to be something to show, before anybody will be taken serious. ‘The proof is in the puddn’ as they say, but even after that ..
Having spent time and lots of personal money to find a tiny little nitch, then develop the ‘product’ that will have a great positive impact on our enviroment- it is more then frustrating to see that really nobody understands what the ‘product’ is about.
Marketing has put such a spin on new inovations that imidiate information and results are a constant requirement.
Honestly- who will lay everything out that they worked for and developed for a long time?
Every day another trade secret was stolen or copied. Yet here we are creating new things, better things in the hope somebody will take the time to listen, see the potential, take a risk and provide funding.
I don’t give up hope that there a re still some people left that recognize value when they see it- without the fanfare and constant TV commercials.
