This is something our development team have worked hard on implementing over the past few months and we believe it offers significant improvements for the efficiency and flow of writing scientific papers and grant proposals directly in the browser.
With over a million reference uploads and a recent mention in a Nature article, F1000Workspace is being used by thousands of biomedical researchers. Here’s 10 top reasons why: 1. Designed for scientists F1000Workspace was designed and tailored for biomedical scientists to help radically improve how scientific papers are collaborated on and written. 2. One-click reference…

A growing number of tools aim to help scientists filter and discover relevant papers and, in some cases, provide information on research impact not based on the Impact Factor. Amongst these alternative or article-level metrics tools is F1000Prime. F1000Prime adds expert commentary and context to the raw numbers – social media shares, page views, etc…
Much of the power and value of F1000Prime is down to the caliber of the Faculty who recommend articles. But we also encourage non-Faculty (users and subscribers) to nominate articles for inclusion in F1000Prime. Their suggestions are considered by Faculty Members who may then write recommendations.
